Home on the range

Last week confirmed how much I love my job! I had a shoot at a beautiful barn with horses, hay bails and everything you can imagine. I got there a few minutes early and enjoyed getting some fun shots of the property. I felt like a kid in a candy store as I played with my new lens and worked with different settings. The family arrived soon after and I had so much fun trying to capture the moments of this entire family being together for the first time in a long time! Once again I have the most BEAUTIFUL clients!

I am going to attempt to build a family tree

Live your dream

I met Brooke my freshman year through a small group we were involved in. After we realized we were both studying to be elementary school teachers I sent her a facebook message and told her I thought we could be great friends-hilarious i know, but I was right. I could have never imagined the friendship we would form and I am so thankful for her. Fastforward 4 years and I am sitting on a couch with other close friends waiting for Brooke and Bowers to arrive and tell us, we think, some pretty exciting news. Bowers had asked Brooke to spend the rest of her life with him and we were all waiting to celebrate. Here are some pictures from the special night.

Waiting.......

They're Engaged!!

Dabney had no idea...... I LOVE the faces in this picture

Telling the story....

Brooke I am so excited for you and Bowers and can't wait to walk with you through another season of life with you!

Honor.

I spent some time today remembering those who have fought for our country and praying for those who are currently serving. I began to think about what our country might or might not be without these brave men and women and I wanted to pay tribute to all who have served and who are serving this country. It is important that we continue to honor and support those who courageously risk their lives to fight for our freedom.

They serve with courage
They fight with bravery
They stand with honor

Sneak Peak

Enjoy the sneak peak. I will be posting more pics from this engagement shoot and a couple of others in the next week or so, so be sure to check back!

Yea, she's beautiful

Fruit Tea and Sunshine

The day could not have been more beautiful for Eleanor's bridal shower. Sunshine, friends, gifts, food and fruit tea all made this celebration a special one. So grab glass of fruit and enjoy the pictures.

O Happy Day.

Meet Eleanor and Cale. 5 years after meeting on her dads farm in high school and falling in love they are getting married! Not only are they beautiful, but they both have such a gentle and kind spirit. This was my first time to visit the Knoxville Botanical Gardens and it couldn't have been more beautiful! The red buds and weeping cherries were in full bloom, and once Eleanor and Cale warmed up to the camera they were so easy to shoot. I seriously have so many favorites so feast your eyes on this beautifulness!
