Photography Friday

I am going to try something new. Every Friday I am going to add at least one new picture to my blog. It may be a picture that has inspired me or maybe one that shares what has been on my mind or my heart that week. I am so bad about blogging and finding the time to blog which is crazy because I have so many pictures I want to share!! This will hold me accountable to having at least one post a week.

I know that my last blog was at the beach, but I have been thinking about the beach a lot lately! Maybe its because the warm sunshine is streaming through my window which makes me think it should be warm outside, but its not! So here's to my first photography friday!!

Dear Summer,

Come quickly......

Dreamland.

To me, the beach is the most relaxing place you can be. I love waking up in the morning and watching the sunrise paint the sky as if God dipped his fingers in a can of pink and orange paint and brushed his fingers in soft strokes across the sky. The sound of the waves crashing on the sand reminds me how powerful the Lord is. The way the birds gracefully fly above the water reminds me of his gentleness. And the sunsets remind me of his promise. It is as if all of creation is singing his praise.

Cookies for Santa!

These precious girls came over to bake cookies for Santa. My brother organized the whole thing and helped them cut the dough into festive shapes and decorate them perfectly. He just adores them and they adore NENE. It was a fun day with lots of sugar, but I think everyone left with a stomach ache!!

Beautiful Colorado

<sup>At the beginning of Christmas break I went to Colorado with a group of friends that I am so blessed to have! We had a wonderful time skiing and enjoying the beauty that we were surrounded by.

Caris.

Caris is Greek for grace, and the name of this precious little girl. I took some pictures of her this summer and it is amazing how fast she is growing. I love the laughter and the joy that brings wherever she is, not to mention she has the sweetest smile! See for yourself.....
