O Happy Day.

Meet Eleanor and Cale. 5 years after meeting on her dads farm in high school and falling in love they are getting married! Not only are they beautiful, but they both have such a gentle and kind spirit. This was my first time to visit the Knoxville Botanical Gardens and it couldn't have been more beautiful! The red buds and weeping cherries were in full bloom, and once Eleanor and Cale warmed up to the camera they were so easy to shoot. I seriously have so many favorites so feast your eyes on this beautifulness!

Good things come to those who wait :)

I shot Eleanor and Cale's e-session Wednesday and I am having so much trouble picking my favorites! However, I am so excited about the pictures I couldn't wait to share them with you! Enjoy your sneak peak.

More to come......... :)

10k? Yes Please!!

This past weekend some friends and I went to Charleston, South Carolina to run in the Cooper River Bridge Run. The CRBR is a 10k that starts in Mt. Pleasant crosses a 2 mile bridge (half of it up hill) and ends in the heart of downtown Charleston. It was my first race and when I crossed the finish line my thought process was #1. When is the next race? #2. Where do I sign up? #3. I did it! Needless to say I LOVED IT! I encourage each of you to run one! Once you run one you will want to run as many as you can. I considered running the half Marathon in Nashville in April, but decided that financially that was not a good decision right now so I am saving for next year! We spent the rest of our weekend relaxing and enjoying each others company. Here are a few pictures I took of downtown, Rainbow Row and the Battery.

Don't know exactly what time these 2 pictures were taken, but I do know that we got up at 5:45 a.m. so that we could drive to the start line! (NO, we're not crazy! but we might have a loose screw)

Some of these were taken out of the car window while we were moving so forgive the tilts and the blur :)

Blessed to be a Blessing.

So I haven't posted on the last three Fridays... I fail. But if I have been out of town the last 3 Fridays does that count? The first Friday that I missed posting was March 12. I was in Moultrie, Georgia, a place that most of the 80 students on the trip had never heard of including myself. We we there with The Cross. The Cross goes on a mission trip every spring break, and for the past few years we have been in Mississippi doing hurricane relief, but this was our first trip to Moultrie. My group painted a house, put up new siding, fixed a roof, redid our homeowners flower beds, and took Ms. Gussie who was 83 yrs. old to the beach for the first time. It was an incredible experience and we had a wonderful week! I don't have many pictures of our work site cause I was too busy working :), but here are a few!

Our homeowners, Ms. Maddie and Ms. Gussie first time at the beach

Ok I really thought I had more pictures of our worksite, but they must be on the other camera
